Aquatic Exercise & Water Aerobics

Weights and flotation devices are often used
as aids for water exercise in an Endless Pool.
"You don't have to be a swimmer to benefit
from an Endless Pool," says professional
water therapist and trainer Leslie
Krichko. "People who want to get fit
and stay fit using aquatic exercise find that they can
actually make greater progress faster in an Endless
Pool than on land.
"That's because the water and current
provide resistance in all directions, not just one," Leslie explains. "No matter which way you move,
you benefit -- yet without any of the jarring or pounding
that occurs on land. When you finish, your muscles have
had a great workout, but your joints haven't been stressed
or damaged.
"Water exercise is excellent for weight
loss, too. A person's whole body changes. They
become healthier and more compact with regular water-based
exercise."
Almost half of our new customers now choose
the "deep end" option, ideally suited
for vertically oriented exercises like walking and running
in place against the current in chest-deep water. Our
staff will be happy to discuss the Endless Pool's multifaceted
design options and their relationship to your health
and fitness goals.
